On Behalf of the resident council, a number of items are being offered at auction to the public. The auction is to raise funds for a handicapped van to assist residents with transportation.
Featured Item: A 100 + set of hand-painted eggs by local African American Artist Joanne Morgan. Joanne is a resident of Villa Maria and has enjoyed a fascinating life as an artist, actress, and singer. The purchase of this collection will be an acquisition of Nashville History. The eggs are museum or art gallery-grade pieces.
In addition to the egg art collection, there are many collectibles, art pieces, primitives, books, decorative plates, handbags, figurines, vases, civil war era lamp, and more items are being added.
